About Black Watch Premier Soccer Club
Founded in 1997 by current Director of Coaching Steve Freeman Black Watch Premier Soccer Club has established itself as one of the top clubs in the northeast region and the nation.
Black Watch provides young soccer players an environment of professional coaching and a support structure to develop each of its players to their maximum potential. The club takes pride in the fact that it has, and continues to develop players who enjoy success at the College level, as well as players receiving invites to participate in many of the US National Team programs including the U17 US National Team residential program. Black Watch has seen its players appear in matches from the regional level all the way to the international level.
The Club's teams have a long history of success at many top tournaments nationwide. With a philosophy that Black Watch teams should always compete at the highest level of competition available, the club's teams particpate in the most competitive leagues in the region.
The mission of Black Watch Soccer is to deliver the highest level of technical and tactical training, skill development, and competitive team play. Under the direction of founder Freeman the clubs focus is to not only develop players who are leaders on the field but to develop leaders in the classroom, in the community and beyond. In his commitment to this he has teamed with local business and community leaders as well as club alumni to form the Black Watch Soccer leadership academy.
It is in this enviroment that Black Watch is able to bring together the players with this cross section of the community to openly discuss what it truly takes to be a leader on and off the field. The players are able to not only draw upon the experiences of those who have gone before them, but each other as well.
It is the club's desire to constantly strive to find new and innovative ways to develop its players that has kept Black Watch at the forefront of player development for the past 15 years.
